Inspirational Quotations --- Generosity
There are many inspirational quotations and famous sayings about money. The Bible has much to say about generosity. In fact, we are instructed to be imitators of Christ who gave of himself. And while We are told that God will reward those who are generous, the generosity of Christians should flow out of a love for God and not for the reward that will be given. There is no greater example to follow than that of Jesus Christ.
Deuteronomy 15:7-8 If there is a poor man among your brothers in any of the towns of the land that the LORD your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward your poor brother. Rather be openhanded and freely lend him whatever he needs. (NIV)
